Jerry Jam Volunteers

Volunteer at Jerry Jam
Lend Us a Hand!

Volunteer Registration is now open!

The Jerry Jam organizers are currently looking for cheerful volunteers to help us make this an enjoyable event. We have a wide variety of volunteer positions available and are currently looking for volunteers in the following categories:

  • Security
  • First Aid
  • Clean Up
  • Parking
  • Recycling
  • Promotions

Volunteers at the 2009 Jerry Jam will receive a reduced gate fee for the weekend. The security team will meet at least twice pre-event and have a rotating schedule of gate duties, allowing everyone a grand time with the jams.

Volunteering Guidelines

The gates open at 3pm on Friday, July 30th. If you are on the security team, plan to arrive at least one hour before gates open.

Do not send ticket money with your volunteer application. If you volunteer for at least one 3-hour shift each day of the festival, you will get in for half price. Tickets fees are to be paid upon arrival.

You must be at least 21 or older to volunteer.

Send in your volunteer form early. The earlier we receive your form, the faster we can set schedules. We will try to accommodate your wishes to see particular bands.

We ask for a time commitment. In order to qualify for half price tickets, the minimum trade is 6 hours of volunteer time. Depending upon the duties assigned, volunteers will be asked to attend at least one pre-jam meeting (security will have two).

We ask for a refundable deposit. Volunteers are asked to provide a $30 deposit to organizers at the start of the festival. This is to ensure everyone's commitment to their volunteer responsibilities. Deposits will be fully refundable at the end of the festival to all volunteers who have honored their schedules.
